Touring With The Nokia N86 8MP in Helsinki

It’s been 2 days since the Nokia N86 8MP started shipping. Now Charlie over at NokiaConversations has managed to get his hands on a Nokia N86 8MP. So Charlie in order to mark the ocassion, went to Helsinki to take some pictures and videos with his brand new Nokia N86 8MP.

Charlie loved the Nokia N85 and he says the Nokia N86 8MP which is a tweaked N85 with a superb 8MP camera has now become his favourite device.

He has posted a video and several photos taken by the Nokia N86 8MP. He says he will leave it to the readers to judge the quality but he says don’t be too harsh as he is not a pro-photographer either.

Exclusive: Nokia N86 8MP Camera and Video Samples

My friend has just notified about the N86 8MP going to start shipping soon. He has received a prototype version of the N86 8MP with beta firmware. Though you cannot conclude anything about the device or camera from the prototype, he has sent some sample pictures and video taken by the Nokia N86 for reference.

As you may have noticed, the properties of the image files say picture taken by the N86 8MP and not the N85/N85 8MP as it was shown in the earlier pictures taken by prototypes. The image quality has also been improved from previous prototypes. This is a good step and indication as we can now expect to see further improvements in the final release and also with further firmware updates.
